Florida officials have today confirmed that rapper-hunting season is open following the takedown of up-and-coming performer Xxxtentacion.

Known for his distinctive dreadlocks, often piled on top of his head and dyed, it is reported that the hunters fired at him from a moving vehicle.
This form of hunting, often carried out at night with the use of powerful lights to illuminate the path in front (spotlighting) is prohibited in most cases in the Sunshine State.

Officials are investigating the claim regarding how the specimen was taken, with a spokesman for the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission’s office stating,
“We wish to remind hunters that they must follow all regulations and must not take game from any moving vehicle. Those found not to be complying may be fined or have their season hunting licence revoked.”

A group opposed to hunting of all animals released a statement saying,

“we are disgusted by the inhumane way in which this rapper was shot down with no chance to escape or defend himself. This callous disregard for sentient beings must be challenged before this endangered species becomes xxxtinct.”

“Hunters can just get stuffed, after we shoot them of course.”

Rappers are classed as big game and can be easily identified by their baggy clothes, exaggerated walk,  trippin’ rhymes and their liberal use of expletives.
Some may also wear Bling, considered by seasoned hunters to be a sought-after trophy.

The season is expected to close at the end of August.
